Capcom has announced that next Friday, April 24, a new update for Street Fighter IV will be available that will give player the new Championship mode. The Championship mode update will give players the opportunity to participate in tournaments as well as the ability to watch replays of tournament matches.
With Championship mode, players will be able to compete in five different grades of tournaments, which will help create the proper experience and challenge for players of all skill levels. Players will be awarded Grade Points (GP) for winning tournaments, which will lead to opportunities into more exclusive tournaments. Tournament wins will also lead to Championship Points (CP), which is, in a sense, prize money.
The Street Fighter IV Championship mode update will be available for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, and best of all, the update is free!
