During last weeks GamesCom press conference, Sony announced that that the PSP will receive a digital reader near the end of year with "hundreds" of Marvel Comics planned for the new service. Over the weekend, Joystiq received a nice little demo from Marvel executive Ira Rubenstein showing off the new digital reader on the PSP.
Check out more video game news and info on my Examiner site! The comics, which Marvel suggests should cost roughly $2 each (Sony has the final say on price), will become available in December.

Assassin's Creed II Limited Edition Bundle
The Assassin's Creed II Limited Edition bundle has been announced on the Assassin's Creed Twitter page and it looks to be an exclusive bundle to Gamestop. An Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 version have been listed at $79.99 with a release date of November 17, 2009. The Assassin's Creed II Limited Edition Bundle will include the following:
- Assassin's Creed II game
- 8.5" tall statue of Ezio
- An Artbook
- Two exclusive in-game maps
I love limited and special edition bundles, especially when they include a figure. This might be a good incentive for me to finish up Assassin's Creed.
